A Wild Few Days

NO Posts for a couple of days because I was very busy..... away from computers.
Friday:
Got checked out of the hotel in San Diego and went to work. Reviewed travel expenses and filed my report drove to the airport to catch an early plane in order to get to Grass valley to help with the loading of the first round of auction items. Spent the afternoon driving forklift and helping buyers collect their booty.

Saturday:
I had intended to take the new boat out but instead spent the day driving forklifts. One of the buyers rented a 5000lb forklift to load a panel truck with 2 laminators. The trick was the laminators were only 2" narrower than the truck. Talk about a tight fit! Also the rented lift would not fit in the door of the building plus, there was something wrong with the rented forklift and it would barely pick up the equipment. We worked from 8:30 to 5pm with little or no breaks. I was beat and went home and collapsed.

Sunday:
The time change allowed me to get some extra sleep in spite of a middle of the night wake-up. We made it to second service and had a wonderful time of fellowship. We planned to try to get the boat on the water for the first time, but turned out the batteries were toast so that didn't happen. Plus with the time change and starting out at noon, it meant we would have been on the water for only about an hour with 2 to 3 hours of pre and post prep. Not to mention I was still tiered from travel and a day and a half of loading and moving.
