My walk through the 23rd Psalm

Psalm 23

1The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

(At each turn of my life and career God has always provided what ever was necessary, even when I lost work it was to make me available for something better)

2He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

3He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

(each day I rejoice in the love of my family and friends who renew me daily restoring my Soul)

4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

(in the midst of this troubling walk, I have the support and love of so many people around me how can I be afraid and yet when I am afraid he sends someone to strengthen me)

5Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

(In the face of this Goliath in my life, he has provided a local clinic staffed by lovely caring people, with the best and latest tools and treatments and my cup is running over)

6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
(How can anything be against us when God is for us, enough said!)
