A great weekend with family!

Had a great Thanksgiving weekend with Clarence my brother and his girl friend Betty. The kids (Brad and Erin with Gabe and Chris and Jessica) all were here and we celebrated the wonderful amazing year we've had. We had a wonderful diner on Thursday and lots of visiting. Then on Friday everyone went up to look at the house the kids have in escrow. (which is even better than when Isaw it by flashlight. We just had a great weekend all around and tomorrow starts Christmas in Bethlehem prep !

As you can see Clare and I are the cancer hairless brothers!

And we are still having a hoot!

We took a few pictures which I'll add over the next day or so, so you need to check back to see the others.

Thanksgiving! and I am!

Someone recently sent me an encouraging Email but the the subject was:
"Your Present Suffering".

Well I need to set the record straight....

I am not suffering!
I am filled with a grace and excitement that I know flows from the Grace and Love God has for each of us! I am bold and confident in Gods faithfulness and his promise to never leave us, no matter how dark the valley.

I have and will be asking God to bless each and everyone who is praying for us and those who have so graciously encouraged me and the family.

Philippians 1:6
For I am sure of this very thing, that the one who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.

May God continue to Bless you and yours, the church and this bountiful nation.
Amen

And it Begins

Well on Monday morning in the shower I realized my hair is finally starting to fall out.
Bummer, I thought I might dodge that bullet but no.

Monday was very productive on the work front, we believe we have finally identified one of the elusive failure mode of one of the companies early products which will make the redesign much more straight forward.

Feeling Good today

It's a good thing as I'm driving to the south bay for a meeting and site inspection and returning. Six plus hours of driving and at least two hours on site.
Need Prayer for the energy and wisdom for this effort.

Thank You All!

The TRUE Meaning of Thanksgiving From the Author

Lincoln had learned how important it is to stop and thank God in the midst of great difficulties.

"We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of heaven; we have been preserved these many years in peace and prosperity; we have grown in numbers, wealth and power as no other nation has ever grown. But we have forgotten God. We have forgotten the gracious hand which preserved us in peace and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us, and we have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own. Intoxicated with unbroken success, we have become too self-sufficient to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving grace, too proud to pray to the God that made us.

It has seemed to me fit and proper that [the gifts of God] should be solemnly, reverently, and gratefully acknowledged with one heart and one voice by the whole American people. I do, therefore, invite my fellow citizens . . . to set apart and observe the last Thursday of November next as a day of thanksgiving and praise to our beneficent Father who dwelleth in the heavens."

Cleared two Work Hurttles

Well, in addition to the good news on the medical front yesterday, I managed (with the help of my good friends Randy and Terry) to get the company released from the Grass Valley building. Man if you think moving out of a house is a lot of work, moving out a factory and RD shop is way beyond.

Thankfully, I had help from people who know how to throw things away. (the Key to any move)

The other hurtle was a real design innovation by our team in San Diego. So far we are doing well but running a bit behind schedule.

Great Day and Good news from The Doctor!

Well today I had my follow up from my first Chemo. The good news is my white blood cells (Lymphocytes, Monocytes, Granulocytes. White blood cells that fight infection and react against foreign bodies or tissues.) are better than average and my Red blood cells are up and working!

All good news and I feel great today.
